The South Hadley Swim Club is a great bargain in times of high prices and other financial pressures.
For the cost of one night at the beach, or for the cost of the chemicals you'd need for your own pool,
you can join a safe, relaxing, private, kid-friendly
swim club and have a summer full of fun!
Membership is not limited to South Hadley residents. The club routinely attracts members from Amherst, Belchertown, Chicopee, Granby, Hadley, Holyoke, and Northampton. There is no extra charge for non-residents. Guests of paid members are welcome with guest passes presented at the time of visit and if accompanied by that member.
If you wish to apply for membership, please contact the Club Secretary at SHSC01075@gmail.com to find out if there are any spaces available. We do have a limited number of memberships available from year to year. If you have an interest in joining, click the button below for more information on how to proceed.

Because we are a not-for-profit organization, member involvement is important to our functioning. Serving time on the Board of Directors is a valuable contribution to the welfare of the club. There are five officer positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, and Treasurer, as well as the opportunity to serve as a Director-at-Large. Other opportunities include club clean-up days, building and grounds improvement activities, and social event organization.
Our club is a friendly, social atmosphere that is welcoming to all. There are some basic rules of behavior for all members that are critical to the safe operation of the facility and enjoyment for all members. These rules are posted on the restroom/shower facility as well as distributed in member registration packets. It is every member's responsibility to educate him/herself on the expected conduct, and it is every parent's responsibility to make sure that ALL other family members registered to use the pool are aware of the club rules and code of conduct.
Violators of club rules may have their membership revoked.
